About Stuart Dee

Stuart Dee studied painting and photography and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of British Columbia. When the fumes from the oil paints affected his health and the canvases no longer fit under his bed, he had to abandon painting and concentrate on photography.

He has tried his best to get lost in four dozen countries throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and has broken five bones chasing the light. His work has been published worldwide and his last book project was the award-winning coffee table book "The Philippines Rediscovered."   

Recent destinations include Manila, Boracay, Mindanao, Palawan, Fiji, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Hong Kong Macao, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Riviera Maya, Rio de Janeiro, Udon Thani, Vientiane and Luang Prabang.

His work is represented worldwide by Getty Images. His Fine Art work is represented in private and corporate collections. He also lectures and teaches workshops on vision, color and travel photography, and writes travel articles.
